SPECIAL NEEDS TAE KWON DO

During a difficult interruption in school services, I sought to replicate missing therapies with activities in the community. Most places I called wouldn't let me get past the word autism before they said they were unable to help.

My father had been a martial arts teacher, and having taken classes from him,
I knew martial arts would be a good fit. I finally found a school that wasn't afraid to give Caspian a chance. Classes looked like so much fun, I signed myself up! Over the years, all of my children have attended classes at one time or another. My son Damian is now a 1st degree black belt, and together we developed the SNAP (Special Needs Advancement Program) at True Martial Arts.

I will teach your child's class about Autism as a Difference

Knowing how difficult it was to talk about my son's autism to his classmates, I started helping other parents by presenting on behalf of their children.
It is one of my favorite things to do.
